PARTI POODLES, sables and phantoms
Poodles of two or more colors. For detailed descriptions of these colors, see Breed Standards: UKC & AKC

There is a wonderful  newsletter available  for all interested  in poodles of these colors and patterns.
For information see The  International Parti-Poodle Gazette
The website's purpose is to promote parti Poodles and spread the word about the gazette... the gazette is distributed by email and is also available online free to anyone that wishes to subscribe.

We have not had the opportunity to have the piebald spotted poodles but do have phantoms and sables. They will be pictured seperately with the phantoms on this page and the sables on the next two pages.
Parents listed can be found with their pedigrees and pictures
on their pages in this web site. Just click the links in their name to go to their pages. You can get back here from the link on the scrolling list at the left This album is for the study of color and pedigrees of the Casa Strega multi-color poodles.
It is my hope that by sharing this information, other breeders can learn more about these beautiful colors and some of the bloodlines behind them.
In time, I hope to have all the pedigrees on this site typed with all the colors listed .

Hidden Gem and Nugget
sire: Casa Strega's Mahogany Masquerade (MO)
dam: Casa Strega's Pretty Woman
This is Casa Strega's Hidden Gem at one day of age.
The red was obvious under the tail at birth. It was barely
noticeable in the lower legs and cheeks.  At 8 weeks when
she left, the color did not show up in pictures and did not
come in as she matured. It only showed if you lifted the fur
and looked close to the skin.
There was one all black litter sister and the red fawn (sable)
Nugget. He was the image of his sire at birth. If I had pictures of
Mo at that age you would not tell them apart.)
This is Casa Strega's Golden Masquerade (Nugget)
                                        Nugget 4 weeks
